Fred Padula

Filming for over 30 years, Fred Padula is a keystone in the climbing cinematography community. Padula’s film El Capitan first debuted in 1978 and screened at Mountainfilm in 1979. The film was unavailable for many years thereafter and re-released in 2013. When not creating climbing epics, Padula pilots small planes, using aerial shots to capture large landscape scenes in still photographs.
