Ezra Edelman

Ezra Edelman is a documentary filmmaker with credits as producer and director for “Requiem for the Big East” (ESPN’s “30 for 30” series); HBO’s “The Curious Case of Curt Flood”(2011); Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals (2010), which received a Peabody Award; and Brooklyn Dodgers: The Ghosts of Flatbush, which won an Emmy in 2007. Edelman also co-produced the documentary Cutie and The Boxer, which was nominated for an Academy Award in 2013. The Opposition (Mountainfilm 2014), Edelman’s first short film, is the story of the 1974 World Cup game between Chile and the Soviet Union, a match that the Soviets boycotted and the Chileans won by scoring a goal against no one.
