Eva Weber

Originally from Germany, Eva Weber is a London-based director who works in both documentary and fiction. Before working for the BBC as a promotions director, Weber started making short fiction films, a talent that followed her even after she left the BBC in 2003. Since then, she has gone on to direct several award-winning documentaries, including The Intimacy of Strangers, City of Cranes, Steel Homes and The Solitary Life of Cranes. Most recently, Weber traveled 400 kilometers above the Arctic Circle to film Reindeer (Mountainfilm 2013), a short film about reindeer herders in northern Finland.
