Eliza Griswold

Eliza Griswold is an American writer and poet who has written for The New Yorker, Harper’s and The New York Times Magazine. She is the author of The Tenth Parallel: Dispatches from the Fault Line Between Christianity and Islam, which focuses on the countries along the latitudinal line where a tense mixture of Christians and Muslims live, and Wideawake Field, a collection of poems. Her third book, I Am the Beggar of the World: Landays from Contemporary Afghanistan, is a collection of clandestine poems by Afghan women.
