Dolores Huerta

Though she was largely ignored by history books, Dolores Huerta played an instrumental role in the story of farm workers' rights in America. The activist, mother and labor leader co-founded what would become the United Farm Workers with Cesar Chavez, helped organize the Delano grape boycott of 1965 and empowered countless workers to stand up for their rights. She is the subject of Dolores.
