Diana Whitten

Diana Whitten has produced, designed and directed short and feature films for the past decade. A graduate of Tufts (B.A.), the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) and the New School (M.A.), Whitten was also a Fulbright Fellow to Indonesia in 2000. In 2008, she founded Sovereignty Productions, a forum to use video and new media for organizations and initiatives with activist agendas aimed at social change. Vessel, a documentary about a young doctor who provides abortions on a ship in offshore waters, is the company’s first feature film.
