Dia Sokol Savage

Executive producer and co-creator of MTV’s hit series “16 and Pregnant” and “Teen Mom,” Colorado native Dia Sokol Savage is also an independent filmmaker who directed Sorry, Thanks (2009) and produced films for Greta Gerwig, Andrew Bujalski, Joe Swanberg, and Alex Karpovsky. She directed Welcome Strangers (Mountainfilm 2020), which tells the story of a young woman in Denver who seeks out immigrants left homeless on the streets and lets them into her home. Savage also runs 11th Street Productions with her producing partner Morgan J. Freeman.
