Davina Pardo

Documentary filmmaker Davina Pardo produced Emmy-award winning Very Semi-Serious (Mountainfilm 2016), a feature-length HBO documentary about The New Yorker cartoonists. Passionate about social issues and photography, Pardo reconciled her interests by attending the documentary film program at Stanford University. She is the director and producer of several award-winning documentary shorts, including Minka and Birdlings Two, both of which screened at Toronto International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and other festivals worldwide. A native of Canada, Pardo worked as assistant to David Cronenberg and helped produce the Academy Award-winning documentary Freeheld. She is the director of 116 Cameras (Mountainfilm 2017).
