Catherine Aeppel
Catherine Aeppel is an outdoor adventure and conservation photographer and filmmaker based in Hermosa Beach, California. She has worked on projects for Red Bull, GoPro, LifeProof and the Aspen Skiing Company. When she’s not shooting, she’s playing in mountains, deserts and oceans far away from crowded cities and civilization. Her film, Why I Ride (Mountainfilm 2021), explores the distinct challenge and reward of learning a new sport as an adult.
