Carlos Morales

Carlos Morales has been telling stories since he was a young child. While he studied engineering in Chiapas, Mexico, he knew he wanted to pursue a different career path, and eventually found his way into filmmaking. Morales worked as a researcher on Carolina Rivas’ immigration-themed documentary Lecciones para Zafirah, following the painful journey of Central Americans cutting through Mexico. His short documentary Symphony of a Sad Sea (Mountainfilm 2018) tells a story of immigration from the point of view of a child.
