Bryn Mooser is a twice Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning filmmaker and activist. With fellow aid worker David Darg, Mooser helped form a little league baseball team out of the rubble and ruin of the 2010 Haitian earthquake. They documented their aid experiences and their baseball team and put the disparate pieces together to make Baseball in a Time of Cholera (Mountainfilm 2012). In 2012 Mooser co-founded RYOT, a next generation motion picture company specializing in documentary films and Virtual/Augmented Reality. Mooser sold RYOT to Verizon in 2016, becoming a SVP and helping create the roadmap for immersive and documentary films for AOL, Yahoo and Verizon. Over his career he has produced more than 200 linear and immersive films, including The Rider and the Storm (Mountainfilm 2013), and Lazarus (Mountainfilm 2019).
