Bobby Whittaker

Bobby Whittaker is a former tour manager for R.E.M. and Mudhoney who, for the past decade, has been working on a 28-mile rail-to-trail project in Ferry County, Washington. He founded the Ferry County Rail Trail Partners nonprofit organization, garnered support and awareness from Eddie Vedder and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and raised funds and community support. He’s also the son of Jim Whittaker, the first American to summit Mt. Everest.
