Andy Maser
A National Geographic Explorer and regular Mountainfilm contributor, Andy Maser is an experienced cameraman, producer and film editor. From tracking elephants on a scientific expedition in the Democratic Republic of Congo to following spirit bears in the Great Bear Rainforest, he combines his passion for outdoor adventure with a desire to document stories of conservation. Director of Wild Love (Mountainfilm 2012) and The Guardians (Mountainfilm 2014), Maser is also a skilled kayaker and athlete, his work leading him to explore rivers around the world and document the dramatic 2011 Condit Dam removal on the White Salmon River. Maser thrives on filming in precarious situations and is continually inspired by those willing to protect both wildlife and wild places.
