Andy Lewis

Professional slackliner, base jumper, highliner and crazy desert monkey Andy Lewis is a study of the fine line between pioneering athlete and fearless maniac. He has taken what was once the mellow pastime of climbers hanging out in camp — slacklining — and morphed it into a trick-studded, danger-laden, full-fledged sport. Be it throwing backflips on the line, pulling in the record for longest highline or going free solo — sans clothes — he pushes the sport to new extremes. In his film Wingsuiter Flies Through Narrow Hole (Mountainfilm 2020) he captures fellow adrenaline junkie Ben "Dicko" Dixon, as he flies through an opening in a space net that’s suspended over a 400-foot canyon in Moab, Utah.
