Alexandria Bombach, the founder of Red Reel Video, sold her possessions and gave up a traditional lifestyle in exchange for a 1970 Airstream trailer, resulting in her film 23 Feet. Whether she’s on location in the Wind River Range or filming in the waves of Baja, Bombach is inspired by people who pursue their passions in the outdoors and dedicate themselves to environmental and social issues. Her series “A MoveShake Story” featured Alison Gannett, Julio Solis and Gregg Treinish and screened at Mountainfilm in 2012 and 2013 and Common Ground in 2014. Bombach then traveled to Afghanistan with co-director Mo Scarpelli to tell the story of photojournalism in the country after the Taliban regime, resulting in the film Frame by Frame (Mountainfilm 2015). Bombach is the director of the film How We Choose (Mountainfilm 2016).
