Alex Schmider

Named one of Forbes’ “30 Under 30 for Media in 2017,” Alex Schmider is a recognized transgender media spokesman, filmmaker and the associate director of transgender representation at GLAAD, the nation's leading LGBTQ media advocacy organization. At GLAAD, he serves as an educator, consultant and advisor to Hollywood and media-entertainment entities about how to approach LGBTQ and, specifically, transgender storytelling. He is the executive producer of Changing the Game (Mountainfilm 2019).
