Alastair Lee

Alastair Lee is an accomplished UK-based adventure filmmaker who has traveled as far as Baffin Island and the Venezuelan jungle on expeditions. With 20 years in the industry, Lee’s films have earned him a host of awards from film festivals around the world. Credits include The Asgard Project (2009), The Prophet (2010) and The Last Great Climb (2014), as well as Spectre Expedition - To the End of the Earth (Mountainfilm 2019). Lee runs his own production company, Posing Productions, and uses his talent for merging the spectacular with the human to create films that showcase a deep understanding and respect for the mountain world. His film Climbing Blind (Mountainfilm 2020) tells the story of one man’s determination to ascend the Old Man of Hoy sea stack in Scotland — as the first blind person to make a “non-sight” lead.
