Aaron Rice

Aaron Rice grew up in a cohousing community in suburban Massachusetts and began skiing at an early age. He ski raced in high school and became and avid backcountry skier in college. After college, feeling a little aimless, he set himself an ambitious goal: to become the first person to ski 2.5 million human-powered vertical feet in a year. He is the subject of the film 2.5 Million (Mountainfilm 2018).
