Jamie Margolin & Jonah Gottlieb — Climate Warriors

At just 18, Jamie Margolin has already established herself as a climate change activist. She’s the co-founder of Zero Hour, a youth-led movement that drives the conversation around climate and environmental justice, and the author of the book Youth to Power: Your Voice and How to Use It. Jonah Gottlieb is a teen who’s made it his mission to educate the next generation of American voters and get young people involved in politics through his organization, Global Awareness. Together, they’ll speak to the current state of the climate agenda, the role of the youth and what can be done in the short and long term to move forward.

At age 36, Brady Walkinshaw, is young and accomplished — he’s the CEO of Grist, an independent news outlet, and served in the Washington State House of Representatives — but today, he’ll be talking to the next generation of thinkers and doers.

Youth to Power: Your Voice and How to Use It is available at Telluride’s Between the Covers Bookstore, Mountainfilm's indie bookselling partner. While you’re there, why not order the Mountainfilm 2020 Book Bundle, a collection of the five books represented this year, and Mountainfilm's 40th Anniversary book, which is chock full of images, stories and memories made since 1979.
