Coffee Talk 2016: The Art of Conservation

Christ Church Upstairs

Artists have been painting, photographing and replicating nature for as long as they’ve been holding paintbrushes and cameras. Wildlife photographer Paul Nicklen, who uses his camera to document the effects of climate change on polar landscapes; Adam Grimm, a painter, film subject and a two-time winner of the Federal Duck Stamp Competition; Cristina Mittermeier, photographer and conservationist; and Anand Varma, a National Geographic photographer who helps biologists communicate their work through images, explore about how art can propel conservation.
