As film festivals proliferate, it’s become harder for filmmakers to know the best strategy for maximum exposure. Michael Brody, founder and director of the Crested Butte Film Festival; documentary film consultant Brian Newman; and Tribeca Film Institute Executive Director Anna Ponder discuss how to navigate this complex landscape with Mountainfilm Festival Director David Holdbrooke. Update: Geralyn Dreyfous, founder of the Utah Film Center and a powerhouse in the documentary world, will join the Saturday Coffee & Conversation titled “Film Festival Strategy,” which will take place at 8 a.m. in the Ah Haa East Gallery.
