Mountainfilm on Tour, a selection of award winning films that explore themes connected to exploring cultures, promoting adventure and preserving environments, is again being hosted by Penn State Great Valley. For 35 years, Mountainfilm has attracted leading independent documentary filmmakers, artists and photographers, conservationists, mountaineers, scientists, journalists and explorers from around the world to engage in the festival’s motto of “Celebrating Indomitable Spirit.” Each year, Mountainfilm on Tour takes a selection of outstanding films from the Telluride festival on the road to engage audiences who otherwise would not have an opportunity to experience them.
