Community Options of Montrose

Community Options provides an array of support services for adults and children with developmental disabilities throughout Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, San Miguel, Ouray, and Hinsdale Counties.  The non-profit’s mission is to help people develop their abilities to their fullest and to integrate as much as possible into the communities in which they live.  With state budget restraints and ongoing staff shortages in the health care field, Community Options is looking for the opportunity to raise the level of awareness of what a vital role their 175 employees perform in the area.  Also, with Community Options operating on a deficit budget, any funds raised can be put to good use.

Uncompahgre Valley Association

UVA is a community action group of Montrose County.  We strive to inform our members and the community about local issues that impact our area.  Our goal is to build a healthy and sustainable community that is aware of social and economic justice and environmental stewardship.  UVA is a member of the Western Colorado Congress (WCC).  WCC, an alliance of community groups in seven counties, empowers people to protect and enhance their quality of life in western Colorado.
