Filmmaker and photographer Dan Ransom explores the landscapes of the Southwest, capturing the region in photography and his recent documentary Last of the Great Unknown (Mountainfilm 2012). His photographic travels have taken him from the peaks of the Himalaya to the canyons of Death Valley in California.
