Anson Fogel

Anson Fogel

Anson has been shooting stills and motion since a child, his interest sparked by his godfathers darkroom, his family's love of wild places, and the overwhelming effect of films seen in small rural western towns as a kid. He has recently won multiple festival awards and critical acclaim for his film WildWater. Anson has worked as a DP, Operator or DIT on commercials for WireStone, Brothers and Company, Microsoft, Razorfish, Justin McClure.tv, and others, and directed web series for Spire USA and Ommerzant. He recently was DP and editor for the narrative short films Paraiso, and Red Landing for FireFly Films and Gretchen Wroblewski.

Anson Fogel created Forge Motion Pictures in 2007 as a platform for his work as a camera operator with a dream of creating meaningful documentary films that both entertained and spoke of truth.
