Amy Marquis, director of The Way Home: Returning to the National Parks (Mountainfilm 2012), is an editor on the award-winning National Parks magazine, a quarterly nonprofit publication that reaches more than 325,000 members of the National Park Conservation Association and thousands of visitors to national parks. She’s traveled the country to cover some of the most pressing park stories of our time — from cross-border conservation efforts to global warming’s effects to a kayaking program for injured war veterans. Marquis also founded a website, The Digital Naturalist, to provide a forum for advocacy storytellers to explore what makes a video fly or flop.
