Francine Strickwerda

Francine Strickwerda's award-winning feature documentaries including Oil & Water and Busting Out, have screened on Showtime, PBS, Netflix, Amazon Prime and television channels all over the world. Her work has been supported by MacArthur Foundation, Independent Television Service and many others. A principal in Seattle creative video agency Hullabaloo, Strickwerda’s clients include some of the world’s most recognizable brands and nonprofits. Formerly, she was a newspaper reporter and a producer at Seattle’s KCTS Public Television in Seattle. When not in an edit, she is mom to a 12-year-old son and enjoys open-water swimming in the Salish Sea. She is the director of Ultimate Citizens (Mountainfilm 2023).
