How does Mountainfilm transform the tiny alpine hamlet of Telluride, Colorado into a world-class documentary film extravaganza? VOLUNTEERS! Each festival we rely on the true grit and devotion of 150+ volunteers from around the planet.
Who can volunteer? ANYONE (18 years of age or older) willing to smile endlessly, get their hands dirty, problem solve, work hard and commit to a four-day weekend of rubbing shoulders with filmmakers, environmentalists, activists, writers, artists and concerned citizens of the world.
NEW THIS YEAR! In exchange for 16 hours of work you will receive a SUNSHINE PASS. For an additional 6 hours of work you can upgrade to the all-access WILSON PASS. Volunteers of years' past please note - NO MORE SEPARATE LINES FOR VOLUNTEERS AT ANY THEATERS!
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
-
You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer.
-
You must provide us with a credit/debit card number or a check in the amount of $250 as a deposit (Merely submitting a volunteer application WILL NOT result in credit cards being charged or checks being deposited. -
We will begin scheduling volunteers in April 2010. Don't worry if you don't hear from us until the spring, we haven't turned down a willing volunteer yet!
