Vanessa Mazal
Vanessa Mazal manages the Colorado Program for National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), a national nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s national and cultural heritage. In this role, she works on a variety of policy issues affecting national parks in the Southwest, supports community and economic development efforts and helps to broaden NPCA’s constituency. Mazal holds a master's degree in environmental anthropology from the University of Washington and has served in a variety of Western environmental program and policy roles. She previously managed international development communications grants for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle. Mazal lives in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado.
