Sam Bryan

Filmmaker, film archivist and teacher, Sam Bryan has taught courses in film history and production at Brooklyn College, Fordham University and Pratt since 1983. Starting in 1960, he filmed for the International Film Foundation in Africa, the Middle East and South America. His films have been shown at the American Film Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. He was formerly the president of the New York Film Council and continues as executive director of the International Film Foundation.
