Jonathan Hiller

Jonathan Hiller is a man of many interests: He’s worked as a researcher in a neuroscience lab, historic kayak tour guide, substance abuse counselor and an operations manager at a startup company. It wasn’t until he stumbled into filmmaking that he was able to integrate his passion for art, technology and psychology. Hiller’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Time and on the Discovery Channel. A few years into his film career, he was recruited to serve as a filmmaker for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, where he worked as the director of photography on national broadcast ads and created digital shorts to personify policy positions. Hiller works as the director of photography at Balcony Nine Media in Boulder, Colorado, a production house that he co-founded. Edges (Mountainfilm 2016) is his first film.
