Christopher Hill

Christopher Hill is a distinguished four-time ambassador (nominated by three presidents), author, columnist, highly sought public speaker and was named the dean of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver in 2010. He was ambassador to Iraq from April 2009 until August 2010 and also served as U.S. ambassador to Poland, Macedonia and special envoy to Kosovo. Hill’s 2014 memoir Outpost: Life on the Frontlines of American Diplomacy details his life in some of the most dangerous and war-torn countries in the world. He began his career in Foreign Service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, West Africa.
