Chris Kassar

Chris Kassar is a wildlife biologist and conservationist who has worked for many years as an environmental activist. She currently serves as the Environmental and Media Coordinator for Rios Libres, a team of adventurers, photographers, writers, filmmakers and scientists working to keep Patagonia wild. Chris previously worked as a wildlife biologist with the Center for Biological Diversity, defending public lands in Arizona, New Mexico and California from off-road vehicle abuse. Chris holds an M.S. in Wildlife Biology from Utah State University where she worked in the landscape ecology lab and completed research on the impacts that roads have on wildlife and habitat.
