Chris Cresci

Chris Cresci gained an appreciation for wild things and the outdoors during his childhood in Walla Walla, Washington. Today, he splits his passion between getting out — climbing, hiking and trail running — and working as a filmmaker and cinematographer. Cresci has worked on a number of environmental film projects that often focus on the themes of conservation and the human connection to the natural world. He is the founding member and director at Rainhouse Cinema, and his films include Among Giants (Mountainfilm 2011), A Line in the Sand (Mountainfilm 2015), Here We Stand and Where I Belong (both Mountainfilm 2020).
