Anna Ponder

Anna Ponder is the executive director of the Tribeca Film Institute, a nonprofit arts organization that champions storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. Previously, she worked at the Robin Hood Foundation in New York, where she managed leadership gifts, before joining several hedge fund firms—including Tudor Investment Corporation, Raptor Capital Management and High Rise Capital Management—as the director of marketing and investor relations. She holds a doctorate in political science from Yale, where she focused on African politics, African-American politics and contemporary political theory. She has a profound interest in and has done considerable work around issues of social justice and narratives for social responsibility.
