Anna Brones

Anna Brones is a writer, artist and producer. She is the author of several books: The Culinary Cyclist, Fika: The Art of the Swedish Coffee Break; Paris Coffee Revolution; Hello, Bicycle; Best Served Wild: Real Food for Real Adventures and Live Lagom: Balanced Living the Swedish Way. The avid cyclist and food lover is also a papercut artist. She is the founder and editor of Comestible, an indie zine about food and food production. Brones is passionate about covering stories that involve women’s rights, culture, bicycling and the crossover between food and fashion. Her film production work includes Mending the Line (Mountainfilm 2014) and Les Voyageurs Sans Trace (Mountainfilm 2016). She is the co-director of Wild Harvest: Alaska (Mountainfilm 2017) and the impact producer of the film Afghan Cycles(Mountainfilm 2018). Brones is the artist of Mountainfilm’s 2022 poster.
