Young Men in white lab coats with gas masks and blowtorches are hard at work in an industrial loft, but this stylish film isn’t about an underground experiment gone wrong: It’s about art. The men are heating an acrylic surface upon which to slide curling stones that will create a series of paintings. You can see the stones—created by artist Jason Young — up close at the Ah Haa School. At this showing, Young will also talk about his next project, White, which is part film, part artwork and all part of a big vision. —DH |
