One artwork that will not be for sale is the sand mandala being made during the week- end at the Ah Haa School. Lobsang Thinley from the Asanga Institute in Montrose will create this incredibly intricate work. Catch it while you can because, as is the custom, when they’re finished, the sand—and thus, the piece—will be swept up and taken to the river. This demonstration of the Buddhist view on the impermanence of life will take place during the Reading Frenzy.
