In 2004, musician filmmakers Duncan Bridgeman and Jamie Catto (1 Giant Leap) set off around the world with a digital camera, a laptop and a vision. From the deserts of Rajasthan to the beaches of Ghana, they invited musicians to accompany pre-composed tracks and add their own song into the mix. As the songs grew, Bridgeman and Catto began interviewing writers and revolutionaries, grave diggers and gurus about the big questions we face in the modern world. This trippy collage draws together characters from more than 50 locations around the world. What About Me? features—among others—Noam Chomsky, Michael Stipe, Michael Franti, Stephen Fry, Speed Levitch, Neale Donald Walsh, Tim Robbins, K.D. Lang, Baaba Maal, Bob Geldof, Lila Downs, and Maxi Jazz.
