Few people know more about movies than Jeff Scher. It would be one thing if he were just a walking filmic encyclopedia, but he’s actually an enormously talented filmmaker himself. We are thrilled to play a few of his many films throughout the weekend. Whiteout is a perfect, painterly collage of the many things we all love about winter, while L’eau Life does something similar with water. His “documentaries,” The Jacobsons and Sid, will play at Kidz Kino, and drop by the Lucas Gallery to see his lovely paintings/cells from Whiteout.
