In 2002, accomplished mountaineers Stephan Siegrist and Michal Pitelka climbed the Eiger’s infamous North Face using only the rudimentary equipment that was available to the first-ascent party in 1938. This film follows and observes their battles with the mountain, their outdated equipment and with themselves.
