USA PREMIERE
One of the best all-round climbers on the planet is on a mission: to take rock climbing to new levels of both difficulty and danger. Dave MacLeod attempts to be the first to climb “Rhapsody,” the most difficult traditional rock climb in the world and the first to be graded E11 7a (trad f8c+ US 5.14c). “ E11” reveals the frustrations and the sheer physical and mental effort that goes into climbing at the highest level. Dave MacLeod has just been awarded the Golden Piton for this first ascent of Rhapsody that is documented in this film.
