TRAVEL & LODGING

Beware of Road Construction!
Highway 145 southbound into Telluride drivers (through Ridgway and Placerville) should expect road closures and travel delays throughout the month of May. Every Sunday through Thursday night, Keystone Hill (between mile marker 72 and 73 just west of Telluride) will be CLOSED from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. reopening briefly at 1a.m. to allow traffic to clear in both directions. Construction will STOP for Memorial Day Weekend Friday, May 25 at 6 p.m. resuming 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

AIR
Flights are available directly into Telluride or nearby Montrose, Durango, Cortez, and Grand Junction. If you are having trouble booking flights, try routing through Houston on Continental or through Phoenix on America West. International airports in Denver, Salt Lake City, and Albuquerque are a scenic seven-hour drive away. For assistance, we suggest the folks at Telluride.com
