Big Walls—The Russian Way
Andrey Pavlenko - Russian Federation of Mountaineering
A “big wall” is a naturally occurring phenomenon, consisting of a sheer cliff that measures more than one kilometer in vertical height. Ten years ago, Russian alpinist Alexander Odintsov set his sights on ten places that met those criteria. This film chronicles one of those ascents, the Jannu North Face in Nepal.
