Library – Seeking The Center Place For 2,500 Years
For thousands of years, Pueblo people migrated throughout the American Southwest searching for the Center Place. This 2,500-year-long story is one of ingenuity, dire circumstances and fortitude. Crow Canyon Archaeological Center's cultural specialist Dan Simplicio, along with the center’s researcher Mark Varien and its anthropologist Shanna Diederichs, will explore how the Pueblo migration weaves together issues of climate change, economic adaptation and cultural identity that we can all learn from today.
