We were knocked out by what we experienced of your festival. The work that you're doing is too important not to bring to Aspen.

What Is Mountain summit?

Mountain Summit is a slimmed down version of the four day Mountainfilm in Telluride festival that will be held August 27 - 30, 2009 in Aspen, Colorado at the Wheeler Opera House. Replete with speakers, films, conversations and art, this four day event brings a community of top thinkers together to have candid and enlightened conversations on topics ranging from global climate action to our complex relationship with food.

We’ll present a symposium on food, and we’ve already scheduled the films Rock Prophecies, The Yes Men Fix the World and several showings that will be new to Mountainfilm audiences. A few guests are already confirmed, including Tim DeChristopher and Chris Jordan.
