Chris Rainier

Photographer/filmmaker Chris Rainier is on a lifetime mission to put Indigenous cultures on film before the tsunami of modernity sweeps many of their traditions and languages away forever. He is a National Geographic explorer and photographer. He has been widely published and exhibited at Museums around the world. He has published seven photographic books, including the latest called The Future of Exploration. Rainier is the Director of the Cultural Sanctuaries Foundation, - a global non-profit focused on protecting traditional culture and knowledge concentrated on indigenous sustainable conservation.
